What this is
Cardboardmarket puts two people in touch who want to swap or sell collectible cards in person. That is the whole service.
We are not part of the deal. No money passes through this app — not ever, by design. There is no escrow, no fees, no payment processing, no shipping. Whatever you agree with another trader is between the two of you.
Your account
- One account per person. Give a display name other traders will recognise.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- You must be 18 or over. Not because a rule demands it — Spanish data protection law would allow 14 — but because this service ends with two people meeting a stranger in person, and we neither vet traders nor supervise meetups. Setting the bar where the risk is, rather than where the law's floor is, is a deliberate choice.
What you list
- List cards you actually own and can hand over.
- Describe condition honestly. The picture shown is the publisher's stock image of that card — it shows the card, not *your* card, which is exactly why the grade and your notes matter and why you both look at it in person.
- Do not list counterfeits, stolen cards, or anything you are not allowed to sell.
Meeting people
This part is real life, so use ordinary sense:
- Meet somewhere public.
- Check the cards before money changes hands.
- Mark the trade done together, once it actually is.
We do not vet traders, verify cards, or supervise meetups. We show you how far away someone is and let you talk to them. The judgement is yours.
What we may do
We can remove a listing or suspend an account that breaks these terms — for counterfeits, harassment, or using the service for something it plainly is not for. We will say why.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We try to keep it running and correct, and we do not promise that it always will be. We are not responsible for what happens between two traders who meet: not the cards, not the money, not the meeting.
Nothing here limits rights you have under Spanish consumer law, which apply regardless of what a document like this says.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time, from your profile. See the privacy policy for exactly what that removes.
Law
Spanish law applies.
If you are a consumer, you keep every right Spanish and EU consumer law gives you, including the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live. We are not going to name a single court here and pretend otherwise: a clause like that is unenforceable against a consumer anyway, and printing one would only mislead the people least able to check.
